I honestly don't think it is worth it to pay more for a balcony room if you re looking for a view. However, there is no table and no chairs. In NYC you pay a premium for outdoor space and as paying more the balcony we would have appreciated chairs to relax. Overall, we made it work and you can tell they tried to be creative with storage space and for the most part pulled it off.

I just don't think those two areas should mix. I also didn't like that we had to put our clothes near the microwave/coffee maker. In the summer this may work, but I doubt it will provide much hanging room during the winter when clothing items are loftier. You have about a foot to 1.5 of hanging space in the tiny closet. With the room being so small they tried to come up with good storage solutions, but overall we didn't feel that the options presented worked very well. The room is tiny even by NYC standards, but we were able to still be comfortable as a party of two.

We had a 5 night stay at this hotel in the 1 King Bed Premium Balcony accommodation. Want to unwind and enjoy a bird’s-eye view of the landmark architecture New York is famous for?
